- Usage and logs: basic technical logs (such as timestamps and IP address) used to secure the service and prevent abuse.
- Billing data: if you purchase Plus, Stripe processes payment details. We may store limited payment metadata such as a Stripe checkout session ID and your plan status.

- To create and maintain your account and session.
- To operate Grainline and provide support.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To process Plus purchases and activate your plan.
Cookies

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

- Google: if you use Google sign-in, Google processes authentication data according to their policies.
- Resend: if we send verification, password reset, or transactional account emails, delivery is handled by our email provider.
